Social Responsibilities

The representative of Ngo & Partners shared the advantages and disadvantages of dispute resolution by arbitration compared to court or commercial mediation with students of the high-quality class of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law at the Vietnam Trade Arbitration Center (VTA). Not only sharing knowledge, we also shared practical experiences in domestic and international arbitration with students.

The representative of Ngo & Partners participated as a judge in the quarter-finals of the VMoot Moot Court Competition in Vietnam. During the competition, we shared our assessments with the competing teams regarding skills in the litigation process, our views on practicing law at leading law firms, and the practical experience of our lawyers in litigation and arbitration in Vietnam.

The representative of Ngo & Partners arbitrated in the ALSA International Moot Court Competition semi-finals in Vietnam. During the competition, in addition to sharing the debating and eloquence skills of teams from Asian countries, we also shared with the teams the practical experiences of Ngo & Partners lawyers in litigation at arbitration practices in Vietnam.

Advising to SAVE Future, which is a charity program founded by May Social Company LLC (MSC) to achieve social goals including:

• Supporting and helping children and their families who are unlucky enough to encounter serious diseases, promoting kindness through the message that everyone can give; and
• Supporting people during natural disasters through emergency relief activities, implementing reconstruction programs, and supporting life stabilization after natural disasters.

Joining as a co-founder of May Social Company LLC (MSC), which is a social company founded on a non-profit basis, and in pursuit of the principle that receiving equal giving (unless the giver has otherwise instructions), MSC commits to spending 51% of the profits of the business activities (the remaining 49% of profits will be used to maintain MSC operations and are not distributed to founders during the operating period of MSC) to achieve social goals including:

• Supporting and helping children and their families who are unlucky enough to encounter serious diseases, promoting kindness through the message that everyone can give;
• Supporting people during natural disasters through emergency relief activities, implementing reconstruction programs, supporting life stabilization after natural disasters; and
• Collaborating with experts and soil research organizations to plant forests to green the land and hills in Vietnam through coordination with Miss Earth Vietnam or Miss Earth International.
